Podgypanda Tee!

Last week I caught up with my man Podgypanda. It had been a while in between catching up and in that time we have both been very busy with various art projects. Panda made an awesome design for a tee shirt and then dropped some bank getting it screen printed. The results were fantastic and cute just like his art style. I was lucky enough to snag one of the 50 limited edition tees he had made.

I'm not sure if there are any left, but ask him yourself if you would like one, you might be lucky?

Something a little different

A quick sticker sketch for whenever I do a pack for someone offshore next. I was sick of doing the colour markers in skin tone. I wanted to try something different. I decided a night time sketch could be cool. This is how it came out.

It's winter in Auckland right now, and it has been very cold of late. Not fun. However there are a few things coming up to get excited about. The Film festival has almost arrived, and what better way to spend a winters evening than watching a kick ass movie or two on the big screen.

Keep on keeping on

Last weekend comic artist Michael Turner passed away. A lot has been written about this, and I don't have much more to contribute. I met Michael briefly in 2005 when he came down to the Armageddon Expo here in Auckland. He seemed like a really cool guy, and he churned out a cool sketch for me in like 2 minutes flat. I scanned it in to share with everyone, because it is too cool to just keep hidden away. Dude will be missed.
